Well it may not be white boy day, just yet, but it does seem to be Sony day at the Leipzig Games Convention. Amongst the plethora of announcements that have been made, my personal favourite being the PlayStation 3 Keypad (high res pic here ), the most puzzling for me is the 160gb PS3. I can understand how this news might sound a little, “phwooor look at the size of this” with perhaps a bit of, “stuff you xbox, mines bigger than yours” (which is precisely why they’ve done this) but it’s really not that big or clever. After a quick scan around your local laptop hard disk supplier you’ll notice that an 80Gb drive will cost you around £30, where a 160Gb drive will cost you about £34.
